Peppermint is the handsome youngsters name, he is right around 7 months old currently. He was part of a small group of dogs we were contacted about to help out of a bad situation. Him and his brother Spearmint were in pretty rough shape. But look at them shine now !! He has a glowing coat of shiny black fur to go along with his wonderful bubbly personality !! He does well with other dog friends after a proper intro of course and loves to play and have some fun, he is making up for what he never got at first is all. He loves attention (we all know the bigger the dog the more they think their lap dogs, lol). Yep he tries to be as close as possible and squeeze onto laps :). He is now fully vetted and is hoping his family is out there looking for him, hoping his dreams of a good life come true soon. A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
