My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Claus, the 8-pound 8 week old bundle of joy who's equal parts playful and adorable! This silly little guy is a Jack Russell Terrier and Chihuahua mix, and he's got a personality that's just as big as his heart. Claus is a curious, fun-loving puppy who’s always ready for an adventure—whether it's zooming around the yard or snuggling up on the couch for a nap. He’s got a heart full of love and a tail that wags like there's no tomorrow. With his sweet nature and goofy antics, he’ll have you laughing and smiling every day.

Claus is up to date on all his age-appropriate vaccinations, but his new family will need to keep up with his schedule to keep him healthy and happy. He's looking for a forever home where he can bring his joy and silliness to a family ready for a little fun and a lot of love. If you think you could be Claus' perfect match, don’t wait—apply to adopt him today at (https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application). He can't wait to meet you!

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
