Meet Rocky the Rockstar! This 7-month-old scruffy sweetheart was found as a stray in South Carolina, but he's now made his way to NY and is ready to find his forever home. Rocky is the cutest mix of scruffiness and southern charm, and he absolutely adores everyone he meets. Rocky is full of spirit and his energy makes him a lively and fun loving companion. Whether it's snuggling up or playing with other pups, Rocky is full of love and is such a happy guy. He’s eager to be a part of a family that will give him all the cuddles and affection he deserves. Rocky is a true social butterfly, always spreading joy and making everyone's day brighter. This guy will be a Rockstar in your home!

IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.

An application, agreement, personal reference check, vet reference check and home visit are required.

Adoption fees are below. All of our animals are microchipped, up to date on vaccines and fully vetted.

Puppies under 1 year : $495
Adults 1-9 years: $375
Adults 9+ years: $300
Special Needs Animals: dependant on specific animal and his or her needs

ADDITIONAL DEPOSIT of $125 for spay/ neuter for all unaltered dogs unless the spay/neuter

We are located at 46 Sodom Road, Brewster, NY. You can come stop by 7 days a week from 11am-4pm. While we have 15-18 dogs housed at our adoption center, the majority of our dogs are located in private foster homes.

SNARR Northeast Animal Rescue's mission is "Giving Hope to the Hopeless.” SNARR stands for Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation. We do focus on animals with special needs but we also rescue perfectly healthy dogs as well! SNARR works with municipal shelters all over the country to save animals at risk for being euthanized. Our dogs (and cats) are all in foster homes prior to being adopted.
