Henry is a delightful 6-month-old Old English Sheepdog who is looking for his forever home! Henry was surrendered when his previous owner could no longer care for him, but he is ready to bring joy and warmth to a new family. Initially a bit shy and hesitant around new faces, once Henry warms up, he transforms into the biggest lap dog you could imagine, staying close to his loved ones and showering them with affection.
Henry has a gentle spirit and has done well with other dogs, showcasing his friendly nature. He has no issues with cats and would thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy children who can appreciate his size and energy. He is playful and has a fondness for toys, making him an entertaining companion.
Henry has great house manners and is crate trained, though he’s not a fan of his crate and may howl to express his dislike. His leash manners are good, but he will need some training on pulling. He is not a suitable candidate for being tethered due to his energetic nature.
Henry would thrive in an active home that offers plenty of space for him to run and play, preferably with a yard or land where he can stretch his legs. Regular grooming is essential for his breed, so breed experience is preferred to help keep this handsome boy looking his best.

OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS. OUR PRIMARY ADOPTION AREA IS WITHIN THE STATE OF MICHIGAN.
