My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This cutie named Wendell is about 3 years old and ready to move on to bigger and better things. This boy, was originally found as a stray hbut no one came to claim him. It has been almost a year. Peace4Paws saw what a special boy he is and stepped up to find him a home. At the shelter, he was a favorite making lots of friends booth human and canine.  as some special friends he's made in the shelter. Once getting to know you, like he did volunteer

Wendell is incredibly dog friendly and would get along great with another dog in the home. His favorite pastimes at the shelter are receiving massages, walks and just sitting in the shade to beat the heat. This already neutered and 40lb boy wants to find a love of his own.

To apply to adopt Wendell, go to www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application from a computer or lap top.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
