My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Zeus, and I’m a 7-month-old pup looking for my forever home. I weigh about 64 lbs right now and still have some growing to do. I’m a sweet boy, but I’ve been through a lot lately. My last owner had to let me go which has made me a little sad. Due to no fault of my own, they couldn't keep me but I’m trying my best to stay positive and looking ahead to the future.

I’m up to date on all my age-appropriate vaccines, so I’m healthy and ready to start fresh. I love people and would love to be part of a family who can give me the love and attention I deserve. I’m still learning a lot about the world, but I’m a quick learner and I love to please. If you have a big heart and space for me, I promise to be your loyal companion. You can apply to adopt me at https://peace4paws.org/adoption-application. I can’t wait to meet you.

More about this rescue

Peace4paws is a 501 (c) 3 non profit public charity centered in Northern New Jersey. Through our foster home system, we are able to support the rehoming and adoption of dogs from kill shelters as well as facilities of research and related fields. Founded in 2007, our initial mission focused on supporting sanctuary and forever homes for animals retired from use in research and related fields. In the past few years we have broadened our scope of rescue. We continue to help our own retired research animals and independent sanctuaries but also save shelter dogs. We are able to do this work through the efforts of our volunteer network and generous donors. Please see our website or facebook page "Peace4Paws" to meet our adoptable dogs, success stories or volunteer opportunities. We organize fundraising events centered around yoga, music, health, or animal friendly activities. We are also involved with student outreach and education. We would love to work with you.
