Hi, my name is Carmel Corn. I`m an older girl who was returned to the shelter after being in a home for 8 yrs. Adjusting to my `new normal` here has been really tough. I`ll be honest, I hide A LOT. BUT, all the wonderful volunteers and staff come in all the time to visit me and try to lure me out of my hidey bed. I LOVE get pets and I have a very loud purr while I`m getting them. I just need someone to take a chance on me and get me out of the shelter to really appreciate my beautiful personality. I`m also front declawed. Apply for a visit!
My adoption fee is $50. With our Seniors for Seniors program, the adoption fee is reduced to $25!
We do not have open hours for public viewing of our adoptable animals. We are by appointment only.

Meet the Pet
If the pet you select is ready to go home that day (meaning they've had surgery/vaccines), the adoption will be completed the same day!

Adopter must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Online applications are preferred. Adoption coordinator will contact applicants within 2-3 business days. This may vary depending on the number of animals in our care.
Adoption Fees:
Puppies < 5 months = $275.00
Adult dogs > 5 months = $225.00
Senior dogs > 7 years = $150.00
Kittens < 5 months = $125.00
Adult cats > 5 months = $100.00
Senior cats > 7 years = $50.00
Working Cats = $0 (donations are always welcome and appreciated)

Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip w/registration
Certificate for a free wellness examination with participating veterinarians
