My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sancho, a dog with a spirit as bright as sunshine. His playful nature fills the room with joy, his friendly demeanor is infectious. Sancho has a goofy side that brings laughter to all who meet him. He loves a good game of fetch and is always ready to make new friends. He`s an adult, but his energy and zest for life are comparable to that of a puppy. He`s the kind of dog who will turn a house into a home, bringing warmth and cheer with him. Sancho is not just a pet, he`s a companion, a friend, a source of endless entertainment. He`s a dog who will love you unconditionally, and all he asks for in return is a family to call his own. Adopt Sancho, because everyone deserves a friend who makes them smile every day.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
