My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here's what my friends at the shelter have to say about me! "To know grace is to love her . I think I took Grace out three different times the day I met her because I just wanted an excuse to keep hanging out with her, and we needed a temp test and she was a sure bet. She would meet the dogs and then come running back to my feet and sit on them with her tail curled, it was honestly one of the cutest things I’ve ever witnessed. I gave her a bully stick and she just sat there calmly and played with it and was never annoying or jumpy or pulling on the leash. Every time I walked past her kennel she was just laying there calmly with her little paws crossed never whining or barking or doing anything negative. She’s been there three weeks and doesn’t have a single bad note in her file. They all talk about how happy and good on leash she is. I’m so surprised she’s only one. She is a freaking star."

More about this rescue

Bark About It Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based dog rescue. Our mission is to save dogs from urgent situations such as euthanasia lists, overcrowded shelters, and homelessness as well as to educate the public on the importance of spay and neuter. Our rescue is based in Pennsylvania, but we rescue dogs all over. Additionally to urgent cases, we also focus on helping long term shelter stay dogs.
