Carmel (A135806) is a 1-year-and-3-month-old intact male rabbit who weighed 6.31 on intake!

12/04/24 This handsome and outgoing rabbit is Carmel! Carmel is quite the curious fellow and loves to explore. If you are unfamiliar with rabbit care, we encourage you to do the research. He should have unlimited access to hay for his teeth and gi health, a measured amount of pellet food daily, as well as fresh greens. He is a bit chunky, so he should be limited on his pellets. Carmel likes to drink out of a water dish and isnâÂ€Â™t sure what to do with a water bottle. Enrichment is also important! Providing him with plenty of rabbit-approved chews as well as space to hop around and explore is key! If you are interested in meeting Carmel, please let us know!

All pets adopted from the Shelter are required to be spayed or neutered at time of adoption. If they are not, the adopter is responsible for the cost of spay/neuter surgery. If they are, the adopter must pay an adoption fee ($130 dog/$90 cat). Permanent Identification of microchip or tattoo is required prior to release from the shelter. The fee for a microchip is $15. There is a $15 rabies vaccination charge for all pets where vaccines cannot be verified as current.

We are located in Fairbanks on the corner of Peger and Davis Roads. Our pets are viewable on many different websites and at our facility, Animal Control is open to the public:

Closed Sunday

Last daily visit is at 5:15 p.m. Adoption paperwork must be turned in to Customer Service staff 30 minutes before closing in order to be processed the same day.
