My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Aspen (A136937) is a 7-year-old pittie mix who weighed nearly 60 lbs at intake!

12/26/24 This little pittopotamus is Aspen! Aspen arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we do not know much about her history. While at the shelter, she has been an outgoing, happy, wiggly lady and eager to greet every human she sees! We have noticed Aspen can be selective about other dogs, so she may do better in a home with either calm, male dogs or no other dogs. Aspen was also seen by our shelter veterinarian due to some irritation to her skin, especially around her eyes and ears. She suspected that Aspen has allergies, which can be common in bully breeds. Aspen was treated with ear medication and eye ointment, and potential adopters should be prepared to follow up with their regular vet about her eyes in 10-14 days. Aspen will also need a sensitive skin diet moving forward. If you are interested in meeting this sweet girl, please give the shelter a call!December 26, 2024, 9:10 pm
