Snowflake is a 4 month old Maltese x Miniature Poodle (Maltipoo) ready to brr-ing cuteness and cuddles to his forever home! Snowflake was surrendered to our rescue with his brother, Icicle. We don’t know the circumstances of their life before rescue, but we promised their futures would be fabulous! Snowflake weighs 10 pounds and we expect he will be in the 15-18 pound range when he reaches his adult weight. His gorgeous non-shedding coat will require regular grooming to ensure he stays floofy and fab! If you’re ready for a Winter Wonderland, adopt Mr. Snowflake!

Snowflake is a snuggly little puffball who is hoping to find a warm lap to cuddle the cold winter nights away on. Snowflake is absolutely the Mama’s boy of the brother duo and he is happiest when he is following you around and checking out what’s going on in the household. While Snowflake is a bit more timid at first than his brother, we expect that once he is given the chance to blossom, he will quickly discover his confidence and run his house! Snowflake loves a good belly rub and is always down to cuddle and nap with you as you watch TV or read a book. He loves his toys and his favorites are the plush ones with the little squeakers, as he pounces on them like he was a cat in another life! Snowflake effortlessly charms everyone he meets with his quiet and sensitive temperament, though don’t let that fool you into thinking he doesn’t get the absolute best zoomies when he’s ready for some playtime! He’s like if a perfect cloud came to life inside of the body of an adorable puppy. Fluffy and ready for some love!

Snowflake wakes up at 7 AM and trots outside to practice going potty. The boys come inside for breakfast and then play with the resident human kids until they head off to school. During the day, the puppies alternate between playing with their toys, chasing eachother around, or snoozing in one of their dog beds. They have a snack around lunchtime followed by a well-deserved afternoon siesta. Once everyone comes home from school, they get their zoomies out by racing around the backyard, tumbling over the fields of snow (and laughing all the way). Dinner is served at 6 PM followed by more cuddles and snuggles on the couch. They sleep through the night in their puppy pen.

Snowflake gets along very well with other dogs and would be a fabulous playful addition to any home, whether or not they currently have a dog. He has been fostered with kids of all ages and adores them. Interested homes should be prepared to discuss continued plans for grooming and socialization to ensure these puppies are well-behaved adult canine citizens. We also expect homes to have a plan for grooming. If you’re ready for the sweetest icy addition to your family, adopt Snowflake!

Snowflake is only an option for homes who have owned a dog of their own in the last 5 years. Kids should be over the age of 7.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
