My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet and beautiful Page is the mama to our litter of seven bookworm puppies, but she’s ready to close
that chapter and become a beloved member of a family! Page is just as gentle as her soulful eyes would suggest, and it’s easy to spend the day snuggled up next to her on the couch reading a book, watching your favorite show, or giving her some head scratches. She’s an easygoing gal and is happy to be with her people – she’s young enough to enjoy a long hike but calm enough to also enjoy a lazy day. Page can be a bit timid when you first meet her, but don’t let that fool you – before long she’ll be an open book and will be your new best friend, greeting you with tail wags and a happy dance. She’s a people pleaser at heart and a great listener, she learns fast and loves treats and praise. Page loves playing with toys, and there’s nothing better than seeing her silly side come out as she gets the zoomies chasing after a squeaky toy.

In her foster home Page has been doing well with crate training and house training and naturally has great manners. She walks well on a leash and loves going for walks on a nice day! She gets along with dogs of all sizes and enjoys running and playing with the bigger dogs, but is respectful of the boundaries of smaller dogs. Page is also cat friendly and does not chase or bother the cats in her foster home.

Additional adoption info

Please visit www.hopeanimals.org/adopt to learn more about our adoption process and to complete an adoption application.

Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter*, microchipping, up-to-date vaccinations, and current heartworm and flea/tick preventatives.

*If pet is not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption, a $50.00 credit will be paid to your vet at the time of surgery.

We require a veterinary reference for current pet owners, and pets must be up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventative. We meet potential adopters in their homes and introduce the pets to the family's current pets to see if it is a good match. A copy of our adoption contract can be requested via email.
