My name is CaliCoCo!

Cali or Coco, she is called both, showed up last July very thin and so hungry she was eating ash from my burn pile. She was maybe a year old. Before I could make the appointment to get her spayed, she was already pregnant. Both her babies are up for adoption, Henri and Anjou. She was an excellent mother for being so young. She is also a very good hunter and a bit fearless. Also, litter box trained and uses a cat door to the attached garage. She is currently indoor/outdoor cat as I live a half mile off the road.

She had a rough start and is still trying to figure out how to be a pet. But she desperately would like to be. She isn't fond of being held or being petted near her tail. We are working on this. But she definitely likes attention and she has claimed the chair by the front window for napping as you see in her pictures. She is a bit independent, but very smart. Probably not a good fit for children, but more for adults who will let her warm up on her terms.
