Hi there! My name is Lucy and I'm a Pit Bull Terrier / English Bulldog mix. I'm 2.5 years old and weigh in at 43 pounds. I'm a very observant, fun loving and intelligent girl. I'm very athletic and love to run around and play ball or go for a nice long walk. I love an adventure and would be an excellent running / hiking partner. I prefer to be the only female dog in the house but I do get along great with male dogs after a proper introduction. I know how to use a doggie door and always do my business on the outside of my kennel. I would love to be a new addition to your family. Please pick me and take me to my forever home today! All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.

When you decide to adopt a pet, we charge a fee to cover some of our costs. (Except for 2 employees, all others are volunteers!) If there is any problem with your adopted pet, call us to work out a solution. Occasionally, we do take adopted pets back, but very seldom. This is why visiting our shelter is so important! We are willing to work with you! And we appreciate referrals!
