Nugget is lazy, sweet, and has the laid back personality of an older dog, yet DEFINITELY stills gets those puppy zoomies with other dogs around! This sweet girl is a lucky duck, she's been spending her time with us in the lobby; we are learning more about her, so that we can find the BEST possible match! Nugget is about 8 months old, weighs in around 30-35 pounds, and stands at about knee-height, literally the PERFECT size to take ANYWHERE! & luckily for you, she LOVES joining anyone & everyone just about anywhere, as well! Whether it's for pup-cups, walks, visits to the dog park, and many cozy nights in; she is in heaven. Nugget is occasionally more shy with strangers, however, treats get her to come right around, and perform all the tricks! Nugget is seemingly house-broken to near perfection, and truly couldn't be a better match for just about any loving home! If you enjoy nights in, and random weekend adventures, Nugget will make the PERFECT baby girl!

We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!

Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
