My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mork is one of the Fountain City 51. He is one of the oldest males (best guess around 5 years old), so we suspect that some of the others might be his children and grandchildren.

Mork likes people, but on his own terms. When he is done, he retreats to the top of the cat tree (or the cabinets), where he can keep an eye on things.

The Fountain City 51 came to BCHA from a hoarding situation. They arrived covered in fleas and dirt, malnourished, and very scared. All of them have received the medical care that they needed, including flea treatments, vaccines, and spay/neuter surgeries. And thanks to our amazing volunteers, they have blossomed into cats, learning to play with toys and to seek affection from humans. Some are very outgoing while others are still reserve, so we will be working carefully with potential adopters to make sure that each cat finds the home that is the fit.
