Hi there, I'm BALOO!
Let me introduce myself: I’m a one-of-a-kind, affectionate, energetic, and sweet bunny. Whenever someone walks through the door, I’m the first to greet them—sometimes at full speed! (If you don’t have carpet, I might slide right into you. It’s part of my charm.)
I love to keep busy. After zooming around or playing hard, you’ll usually find me snoozing in one of my handpicked hiding spots. (The ones you set up for me? Not so much, but thanks anyway!) I’m smart too—I’ve even learned to do circles for treats. Sometimes I get so excited, I’ll start spinning like a maniac before you’ve even pulled out the treat bag. And guess what? I love stacking cups! They’re my favorite toy to show off my fun and playful side.
I adore human attention and head pets, but just a heads-up: I prefer to keep things above the neck, and being picked up isn’t my thing. Don’t worry though, I’ll happily sit still as long as you’ll pet me.
I’m a free-spirited guy and don’t do well in confined spaces, so I thrive with free roam or my own dedicated room. My litter box habits are top-notch—seriously, no messes here! Unless, of course, I catch a whiff of another bunny nearby. (What can I say? I like to make my presence known.)
Toys? I like to keep it interesting. I’ll go wild for a wobble treat dispenser, but hammocks or boxes? Not my vibe. I’d rather explore the house, climb furniture, or sneak into spots you didn’t even know existed!
I’ve got a big appetite for veggies, hay, and pellets. Morning and night, I’ll be waiting for my salad mix of romaine, red and green lettuce, cilantro, arugula, and radicchio. Parsley and basil are a bonus, and a little banana? Don’t mind if I do.
I’ve got a unique history too. I was found under a dumpster, scrappy and determined to survive. I even had an abscess on my cheek from an old battle wound, but I’m all healed up now and ready to settle down.
As for my future family? I haven’t been around cats, dogs, or older children, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them. I might do well with a calm and laid-back bond mate since I’m a dominant bun, but I’d also thrive as a solo bunny as long as I get plenty of attention and affection from my humans.

RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and microchipped. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.

For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement.
