Hey there, I`m Artemy! I ended up here at the shelter after I mistook a police car for my doggy daycare van. You see, I was playing detective in my yard, and I followed this shiny car, thinking it was a part of my mission. Next thing I knew, I was here, making new friends and enjoying belly rubs! I`m a friendly, loyal, curious, and playful pup. I love going on adventures, even if they occasionally lead to unexpected places. Adopt me, and I promise to make every day an adventure. After all, who doesn`t need a little more laughter in their life?

Interview

Call and tell us what animal you're interested in and we discuss all aspects of the pet. If it's not a match, we can help you find one

2.
Submit Application

We will set up an appointment time for you to meet the pet and collect a Companion Request Form from you.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

At your appointment we will give you an opportunity to meet the pet and make a final decision. If all goes well, you will take the pet home.

The mission of the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Placer SPCA) is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond.

We offer programs for the pets and people of Placer County, including adoptions, lost and found, low-cost spay and neuter assistance, humane education programs, emergency financial assistance for pet owners, free behavior advice, and low-cost microchips and rabies vaccines.
