My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ivy is a gorgeous and super sweet 8 year old spayed female cat looking for a home to call her own. Miss Ivy was surrendered to our shelter with her brother, Joey, after their family could no longer provide care for them. Ivy seems to love attention and hopes to find a home where she can cuddle on the couch with her family and watch the birds from her window. Since she came in with Joey, Ivy should do well in a home with another friendly cat and older kids. We are told Ivy has lived with dogs as well, so we think this sweetie should do well in just about any home where she can settle in slowly and feel comfortable. As we learn more about this cutie pie, we will update you!

More about this shelter

Eagle County Animal Shelter and Services handles all of the animal control and animal shelter services for Eagle County. We are a small shelter and are considered socially conscious, which means we are "no-kill" for space. We are always looking for volunteers, foster homes, and item donations. If you are interested in donating to the shelter we have a wish list available that includes lots of items that we use everyday here at our shelter to benefit the dogs and cats directly. Please call us at 970-328-DOGS if you are interested in volunteering. We love to have people come in to socialize our cats and walk and socialize the dogs. Come see us!!
