Meet Merry Paws!
Merry Paws is a sweet, all-black 10-week-old Rottweiler mix who’s ready to bring lots of joy into your life!
Weighing just 8lbs, this adorable little girl is full of energy and curiosity. She’s one of five puppies who were sadly found abandoned in a bin, but now she’s looking forward to a brighter future in a loving home.
Merry Paws is playful, adventurous, and always up for exploring her surroundings. Whether she’s chasing after toys or discovering new smells, she’s sure to keep you smiling with her energetic personality. Her joyful spirit will light up your home, and she’s always looking for her next adventure!
As she’s going to grow into a big dog, Merry Paws will need some early training to help her become the well-mannered, loyal companion she’s meant to be. But with her playful attitude and eagerness to learn, she’s going to be a great student and a wonderful addition to your family.

If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
