Meet Eggnog!
This sweet little guy is Eggnog, a 10-week-old Rottweiler mix with a short coat of black and tan that’s as smooth as his adorable personality! Weighing in at 9.5lbs, Eggnog is part of a litter of 5 puppies who were sadly abandoned in a bin, but this spirited little guy is ready for a fresh start in a loving home.
Eggnog is playful, curious, and always on the lookout for his next adventure. He loves exploring, chasing after toys, and showing off his playful side. His boundless energy and eagerness to learn will bring so much joy to your life, and he’s sure to keep you entertained with his puppy antics!
Though Eggnog is small now, he’s going to grow into a big, strong dog, so starting early with training and socialization will help him become the well-mannered companion you’ll cherish for years to come.

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
