Chicago, IL – Adopt Baby the Doodle/Fox Terrier-Mix
Baby is a two-year-old, 28-pound, gorgeous, bouncy, very playful, and affectionate, male doodle/fox terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Baby lived with an elderly man who relinquished him when he could no longer care for him.
Baby is a great with dogs, and dog-friendly cats; he just loves to play and is submissive. He is crate-trained and housebroken.
He does have a weirdly loud bark which sounds more like a hound or a rooster! He is nervous at first and barks at new people and dogs, but then warms up in minutes and loves everyone.
He loves his walks, and while good in the car, he sometimes gets car sick.
Baby knows the command sit, and loves working for his treats. He is looking for a patient human with a sense of humor, willing to work with him through his nervousness. He is sooo sweet and worth the effort.
While he’s great with other dogs, he’s best as the only dog in the home, and really best with one human to dote on.
He is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccines, microchipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
His adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. He comes complete with everything you need to care for him: crate, food, heartworm pills, bowls, toys, leash, collar, etc.
