My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Cora was surrendered to us by a breeder. She has not been bred in years and he is no longer in that business and wanted her to have a family now. She has the best attitude about life. Just a happy go lucky playful and loving dog. She is active and one of her favorite things is to play ball. Cora will do great in a home with other playful dogs and a fun lifestyle. She weighs around 45 pounds.
All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and microchipped. The dogs that come out of our program are well socialized when they leave unless noted, both with people and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, contract are required. Bark n' Bitches opened in 2006 as the first ever HUMANE Pet Shop. We closed March of 2020. Times have changed and so have we. We are continuing our mission and are now 100% foster based.
Pups are rescued from high-kill shelters in Kern County, Riverside and San Bernardino counties where the euthanasia rate is as high as 85%.
