We found Granite on 12/17 in our backyard with his sister/friend, Pom. They were huddled next to a pomegranate tree, hence, their names. :) We think that the two kitties were abandoned because they were very clean and perfumed when we found them. They are used to human interaction and love hanging out with people!
He is shy with people at first but quickly comes around if you provide pets and treats. He LOVES being pet and held and will tell you with his generous purring. He is house-trained well and always uses his litter box. His favorite toy is the feather pole.
I personally would love to keep these two cats but my two dogs with high prey drive say otherwise. I don't know how he does with dogs because we've kept them completely separated. Granite would be an easy, fantastic addition to any family. I would prefer to rehome him together with Pom because they spend a lot of time together. That said, they're still young so would consider rehoming them separately to the right home.
