Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Let`s talk Isabelle lore. Same say she used to accompany Krampus as his purrsonal record keeper, others have whispered that she is what lurks at the end of the hallway when you get shivers down your spine. Honestly, whether it`s a legend, myth, or lore Isabelle is a larger than life personality who will make every day memorable!
If your home has room for a literal legend, consider this endearing lady! While she may keep company with less than favorable legends, once she knows you`re a good witch or wizard she changes her tune AND the company she keeps!
My adoption fee includes my neuter, age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, FIV/FeLV/Heartworm test, and an initial deworming. Call 419-352-7339 or email wchsadopt@gmail.com to meet me!

Our adoptions are processed same day! All we ask is for an adoption questionnaire and survey to be completed as well as a copy of the adopter's state ID in order to assure they are at least 18 years old.
Each animal has a fee which must be paid at the time of adoption and there is a small amount of paper to be completed as well.
We ask that adopted animals safely leave the shelter either in a carrier or in a leash and collar.
All adoptable animals have been spayed/neutered, received, age appropriate vaccinations, and a microchip! Cats have been tested for FIV and FeLV. Dogs have been tested for heartworm as well as kept current on flea and heartworm prevention.

More about this shelter
The Wood County Humane Society was originally founded in 1904, and has been committed to the well-being of many different species of domesticated animals that require our help. In 1988, the Minniebelle Conley Shelter was established through the generous legacy of the Minniebelle Conley Trust, and our current location was built to provide these services, and has continually been doing so since. We are a private, non-profit, limited admission, 501(c) (3) organization and rely on the generous contributions and donations of our members and residents of Wood County. We do not receive any funding from the ASPCA or the Humane Society of the United States for our daily operations.
