Me and my 14 year old son rescued Rose from a dog shelter in Tempe Arizona in March 2023. We were told that Rose had two previous families. The first family got rose as a puppy and surrendered her after she was aggressive with a smaller dog in the house. The family was going to have a baby and felt unsafe for a baby to be around Rose. Rose stayed a few months at the shelter before being adopted by her 2nd family. A female adopted Rose and she had a male partner who was not consistently present in roses life. The male partner was away from Rose for a few weeks and grew out his beard and rose bite him.
Rose has always been very very very loving and super gentle yet very protective over me and my son since we found her. She has been in training since may 2023 because she is owner protective reactive. Every Veterinarian, groomer, and trainer that Rose has had all say the same thing -Rose is sweet and gentle and loving but as soon as i come around shes gets supper reactive.
