Meet Gunther! This sweet, affectionate 1-year-old boy loves to be your shadow, following you around and joining in on your daily activities. He’s a great kitchen companion, especially if chicken is on the menu—he’s ready to be your official taste tester!

Gunther adjusted beautifully to living with dogs after a week of introductions and now sleeps peacefully in the bedroom, even cozying up on the bed with his canine friends. He’s a chatty little guy who enjoys a good conversation and will happily “answer” you. One of his favorite activities is playing in the water when he hears the sink running—it’s pure joy for him!

This loving and playful boy would thrive in almost any home and is ready to bring his charm to his forever family.

Adoption is $150 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.

Toby’s Critter Cove Rescue was established in 2020, the year that everything seems to be falling apart. Our one glimmer of hope was starting a passionate program rescuing animals in Summit and surrounding counties. Our motto, no paw left behind, which we live and breathe to ensure no animal goes unloved or uncared for. Our goal is to educate not only our volunteers, but also the community about responsible animal ownership. In addition, offering a varied level of support structures to ensure the most positive home placement for all our critters.
