My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! Iandamp;#39;m Roy, and Iandamp;#39;m here with my best buddy and brother, Ronnie. Weandamp;#39;re a bonded pair of dashing Huskies, which means wherever I go, Ronnie goes too-itandamp;#39;s double the Husky love and double the fun!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Whatandamp;#39;s better than one Husky? Two, of course! Weandamp;#39;re an energetic duo who loves to play, go on walks, and just enjoy each otherandamp;#39;s company. We get along great with other dogs and are always up for a good time. Weandamp;#39;re looking for a home with older kids who can match our zest for life and join in the fun.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Since weandamp;#39;re such a team, itandamp;#39;s important that we meet everyone in the home to make sure itandamp;#39;s a perfect fit. If youandamp;#39;re ready to welcome not one but two loving, playful, and adventurous Huskies into your life, Ronnie and I are ready to be your new best friends. Letandamp;#39;s make it happen!

Additional adoption info

Monday - Tuesday (by appointment only) | 11 am - 6 pm
Wednesday - Friday | 12 pm - 7 pm
Saturday - Sunday | 11am - 7pm

Please note that we operate by first come, first serve along with adoption approval. Wait times may vary depending on the time of week and day.

We are reserving Mondays and Tuesdays for appointments for members of the public who are immunocompromised or are still uncomfortable being in large crowds due to COVID-19.

If you have any questions about our adoptable pets, please call (913) 831-7722 or email adoptions@greatplainsspca.org. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member!

Adoption Requirements:
- Adopter must be 18 years of age or older.
- Adopters must complete a survey and present photo identification to meet any of our animals.
- For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets.
- Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $350. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
