Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
From his foster: Jerry is a super sweet and very loving puppy who gets along with everyone. He loves to play with his brother and then enjoys napping by our side (and often likes to be on our laps). He is truly a bundle of joy. He is a vocal player and likes to growl and bark when playing. It's not anything bad, he just likes to “trash talk”. He *could* grow up to be a barker so shared walls could be a problem but it's too soon to tell for sure. He doesn't bark randomly (or at noises) as much as he barks at his brother. Jerry is used to his brother stealing his food so he sees most food as sharable and communal, which could be a challenge if a resident dog has resource guarding issues. You'll need to continue work on potty training, shore up any fence lines, and puppy proof his area of the house. Jerry is pretty adventurous and is a quick learner…even the things you’d rather him not learn (such as where he can breach a fence line). He’s also an all out there dog…all the courage, all the love, all the excitement. What he lacks in size, he makes up with heart, determination, and grit. I'm sure he will grow up to be an absolutely awesome dog, but he will likely need a lot of mental stimulation and physical activity. If you are open to it, once Jerry finds his forever home, I think he would love getting together with his brother Tom for play dates with each other. They really are the best of buds!

More about this rescue
The Bond Between is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on the bond between humans and animals. We were founded in 2009 as Secondhand Hounds. Since then, we have rescued over 29,000 dogs and cats with the help of thousands of fosters, volunteers, and supporters in our community. Our organization has grown from a rescue to a first-in-its-class animal wellbeing organization... now The Bond Between! We continue to provide safe shelter, proper veterinary care, and daily necessities for animals while working hard to help them build a bond with humans. We also focus on supporting the bonds that already exist between people and pets with our pet food shelf, respite foster care program, and focus on social services.
We wake up every morning saying YES to connecting people and animals, caring for them, and helping them fill each other’s hearts.
You can help support us today by donating, fostering, volunteering, or sharing The Bond Between.
