Sonny is the sweetest little guy and the ultimate lap dog. He is gentle, lower energy, and great with little humans! He would be an amazing addition to any household but would love to find a forever family that will be able to provide him with love and affection. He is a bit of a chunky boy (hey, just means more to love, right?!) but, we are hoping to find a family who will help Sonny get to a more healthy weight. This means daily walks but don't worry, Sonny walks great on a leash so no pushing or pulling here! He is house trained and crate trained and has never marked or had an accident in his foster's home! More about this rescue

Arizona Small Dog Rescue is a non profit registered 501(c)3 no kill rescue shelter. We are a group of volunteers who have dedicated our lives to rescuing and saving homeless, unwanted, abandoned, neglected, and abused small dogs. We save most of our animals from kill shelters around the valley, but also accept owner surrenders and stray surrenders. Owner surrender fee’s vary depending on space and availability. We spay/neuter, vaccinate, medically examine, microchip, and evaluate and/or socialize all dogs that come into our rescue before placing up for adoption to pre-screened homes. We rescue many dogs every week and always have a wide variety of personalities and breeds available who would be a perfect fit for any family and any home.
