My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lily is beautiful, fluffy 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd who is looking for a family to love her just the way she is. Lily, who was born with partial hearing and vison loss, was sadly surrendered to the shelter by her owner, due to her size, 46 lbs. Despite the fact that Lily is now in a loud, confusing shelter environment and without the only family she’s ever known, she’s still a friendly, happy dog with lots of love to give!
Lily reportedly lived with other dogs, cats, and kids and did well with everyone. She is already crate-trained, house-trained, and knows several commands, so she is basically the perfect dog for almost any family!
Lily’s breed is generally known to be even-tempered, loyal, and hard-working and we think she fits the description. Help us find a family that deserves Lily’s love!
Lily’s adoption fee is $50 and covers her microchip and up-to-date vaccinations. And since she’s already spayed, Lily can join your family today!

More about this shelter

Caddo Parish Animal Services is an open-admission shelter meaning no homeless animal is turned away. Our goal is to reunite lost pets with their owners and when that is not possible, find a new home for them, provided that they are healthy and not aggressive.
