Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Ember is a fantastic and chill cat. She loves lounging around, chasing toys, chin scratches, and of course treats. She needs a low stress household without other cats or dogs. She likes to cuddle, but is extremely afraid of being picked up. She is a very sweet cat, she has never tried to nip, scratch or bite at us.
We had a mouse problem and that started her issue with peeing outside of the litter box. We had a baby shortly after and that change continued her stress and she kept peeing outside the box in the same areas where the mice were getting in. We have since moved and the stress of our baby getting more mobile and more interested in her mixed with our alpha cat bullying her she has continued to pee around the new house. We truly think she feels that she doesn't have a safe space to relax. We really don't want to do this, but we feel that this could lead to the best outcome for her.
