Meet Krooz – Your Energetic, Loving Companion!
Are you ready to welcome a bundle of energy into your life? Krooz is a *delightful 2-year-old purebred Bull Terrier* searching for his forever home! With his bouncy personality and curious nature, he’s always eager to explore the world around him.
Krooz is a social butterfly—he adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s also ok with cats he has met, making him a possible good addition to a multi-pet household. Because of his enthusiasm and zest for life, he’d do best in a home with older children (8+), as he might accidentally knock over smaller kids in his excitement.
This goofy guy is super food-motivated, which makes training fun and rewarding! He’s almost mastered potty training and is crate trained. However, he’d thrive in a home where he isn’t left alone for long stretches.
Krooz loves going for walks and staying active, but he can get a little anxious and paces when unsure. He needs a patient, understanding adopter who will help him build confidence. Without the right outlets, he can be a little destructive, so he’ll need toys, enrichment, and plenty of exercise to keep him happy and engaged.
Thanks to a generous pet adoption sponsorship from Kenny’s Corner Store in Marquette, Krooz’s adoption fee is $0!

We are a local non-profit organization run and staffed by your neighbors. We make decisions on caring for homeless, unwanted, abandoned and abused domestic animals based on what we believe is best for them. We have no affiliation with any larger group and we receive no funding from any larger group that might influence our decisions or actions.
We advocate only for the animals in our care to help them find their forever home with you.
UPAWS does not receive operating funds from any governmental agency. We rely on donations from our neighbors and friends to make our efforts possible. We save consistently 98% of the animals who come to us – which is an award-winning success story. We want to educate everyone on proper animal care so there soon won’t be the three percent who come to us too sick or wounded to be saved. It’s your support that makes this dream possible.
