My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Be prepared to meet a Pomeranian with a heart as golden as his fur! This sweet and spirited boy is full of energy and loves to stay active, whether it’s going for a walk, chasing his favorite toy, or exploring the world around him. Artemis adores cuddles just as much as playtime and will quickly become your most loyal companion. He’s looking for a forever home where he can share his boundless love and vibrant personality. If you’re ready for an affectionate and fun-loving addition to your family, Artemis is waiting to meet you!

Here's some notes from his foster:

A couple of things:

He is a talkative boy! When he’s on the lease he is friendly with other dogs and people. No issues. He walks well on a leash and loves to pull ahead as walk as he can. He is potty trained and LOVES to walk.

He has to get used to car travel. I have a booster dog seat for him and he didn’t understand he was supposed to stay in it (though he is secured in it) he finally got better on the freeway BUT on the surface streets he thinks we’re going to stop anytime.

He doesn’t love to be picked up (which is kind of true) but he will allow you to IF you’re gentle and you make it clear you’re picking him up. When he gets wet on walks (after rain etc.) I needed to dry off his paws so I learned to calmly and gently dry he feet while telling him that was a ‘good boy’ this definitely helped BUT a new owner needs to be know.

He is clingy (like most fosters I’ve had) and wants to know where I was at ALL times (he sat outside the shower waiting for me) or outside the bathroom door. The new owner will never wonder where he is because he followed me around everywhere once he knew the surroundings.
