Gets Along With:    Other dogs! We haven't seen her with kids or cats but she can be tested if you have them.

Currently Living at:  DC area foster home

About Kayla:   Kayla is a 1.5-year-old Shepherd and Retriever mix who is as sweet as they come! Her foster describes her as a playful girl who loves to cuddle and is eager to be close to her humans. She’s well-behaved in the house and hasn’t had any potty accidents.

Kayla is still figuring out her favorite toys. She shows some interest in squeaky chew toys but tends to lose interest if she can’t make them squeak right away. With a little encouragement, she’s sure to find the perfect playtime activities to keep her entertained.

Kayla would thrive in a home where she gets plenty of love, playtime, and guidance as she continues to grow into a well-rounded companion. She’s eager to please and ready to shower her new family with unconditional love and affection.

What My Foster Says About Me:  Kayla is a playful sweetheart and a total cuddle bug. She's learning more about the world and has really blossomed now that she's in a warm home.

Kayla is working on her crate training and learning to be patient when seeking attention. She may whine occasionally for cuddles, but we're helping her build confidence and independence through positive reinforcement techniques.

Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
