Kazzam, affectionately known as “K,” is a charming 10 month -old, 20-pound Chihuahua (possibly with a touch of Greyhound!) hailing from Alabama. Now thriving in Queens, NYC, this adaptable little guy has adjusted beautifully to both suburban and city life.
Kazzam is a delightful mix of energy and affection. He loves sleeping, jumping impressively high, and accompanying you on errands—he’s always ready for an outing! A true Velcro dog, Kazzam bonds closely with his person and enjoys following them around wherever they go.
Kazzam is working on his obedience skills and potty training. He’s been making progress with a consistent schedule, using the bathroom outdoors more often. On a leash, Kazzam is a dream—no pulling, just steady pacing alongside you. If you’re a runner, you’ll love his speed, but he’s also happy to match your walking pace until you give him the signal to go full throttle.
While Kazzam is learning to be comfortable in a crate, he shows signs of mild separation anxiety, especially when left alone. However, with patience and structure, he settles down and relaxes. Despite his attachment, Kazzam is fine when you step out of sight briefly, so his anxiety isn’t overwhelming.
Kazzam thrives in a medium-to-active home where he can balance his bursts of energy with plenty of snuggle time. Whether it’s a jog in the park or a Netflix marathon, Kazzam is happy to be your loyal companion. With love, structure, and regular exercise, Kazzam will be the happiest and most devoted pup you’ve ever met!

We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the dog is on our website, they are still available.
