Meet Cain, a charming 10-year-old white Boxer mix with a classic "wiggle butt" and all the loving, goofy personality you'd expect from a Boxer! Cain was surrendered alongside his Boxer "brother," Maximilian, and has been doing well in his foster home, especially with small-breed dogs.

Cain is great with kids and has a gentle, endearing nature that makes him a joy to be around. Despite his senior status, Cain’s Boxer energy and zest for life shine through, bringing smiles and laughter wherever he goes.

If you're looking for a sweet, loyal companion who embodies the Boxer spirit, Cain might just be your perfect match!

All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.
