Salem was a stray that we helped rescue after she was found with a severely damaged tail, most of which has been amputated. Her mobility and quality of life have not been impacted by the procedure. She is a very sweet and cuddly cat that will come up to you and just plop down at your side or even on your lap. The main issues have been that she bullies our other cat and has peed in various places in the house. The exact cause for her urinating outside the litter box is unclear. However, diagnostics have been conducted to rule out medial issues. This is a behavioral issue. It could be due to a lack of attention, as we have a toddler and newborn, which limits our time and energy we have to spend on her. We believe she would be great for a household with no other cats.
