Born on May 5, 2024, Tequila is an orange long haired boy. This Cinco de Mayo baby has so much energy, he will definitely keep you on your toes. Tequila has a personality that is always “on”. Sitting still is not in his makeup nor is being graceful! His on the go nature causes him to get in to places and things not meant for him. But he doesn’t care. His slight head tilt may be the cause of his lack of stealth. But he is the happiest boy and his antics will surely make you happy as well. He gets along well with other cats but does not like to share his food! Keeping him entertained is a challenge. Of course Tequila has a sweet side and just loves your attention.
Tequila is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
