A Little Bit About Me

Meet our senior lady Pandora. This mature cat enjoys some nap time on her own, but she also loves her head rubs and purr from the comfort of her bed. She is looking for a calm, quiet indoor home. Pandora is sweet and friendly, often making biscuits on her soft bed during petting. Pandora doesn’t ask for much, just a quiet, peaceful place to call home and a patient, gentle guardian. If you are looking for the serene companionship of a mature lady who enjoys company, but doesn't demand attention, then Pandora may be your match! ***ADOPTION FEE SPONSORED***

More about this rescue

We are a group of people dedicated to rescuing dogs from crisis situations, some of which include euthanasia by animal shelters, neglect and other forms of abuse, or "free to a good home" ads, which result in dogs being bounced from one home to another, or being acquired by animal brokers ("bunchers") and sold to research laboratories where they are used for testing then discarded ("cruelty industries").

NBCR&P works primarily with 5 herding breeds, and herding breed mixes. On occasion, NBCR&P also rescues and places other breeds. We foster our dogs in a home environment, rather than a kennel, if at all possible. We take pride in our promise that at any time and for any reason in the dog's life, if the need arises, he or she has a safe place with us ("return to rescue" policy).
