My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tommy Tomali! Tommy is a medium to large sized white and orange tabby cat with a heart of gold - an absolute giant love bug that you will immediately fall in love with! He has an easy-going personality, loves affection, and would be a great companion cat..

Tommy was found trying to get into a Culpeper home to get out of the bitter cold. He stayed on their porch for a week or so (the Good Samaritans made a warm shelter for him) before we were contacted. No one contacted the shelter to say they were missing him.

Tommy gets along great with other cats. His perfect home would be most anywhere - with a family (with cat-friendly kids over the age of 4 years old) or a single person or a couple. Tommy is dewormed, neutered, had his FVRCP and rabies vaccines, combo tested negative, and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. You won't need to pay every year to reregister - we've done it for you! This sweetheart is ready to come home wih an approved application. More about this rescue

Our rescue is dedicated to the cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, abandoned cats that once had a home and are trying to come into a home for shelter, cats that need a little more TLC than most to trust again.

These cats are struggling on our streets to be noticed, struggling for survival. They need our love, our compassion, our help.

They are the forgotten cats.
The cats that most rescues "don't have time for."

ALL cats deserve love.
ALL cats deserve a good home.
ALL cats deserve to be treated with respect and given care.

Given time, love, and nurturing, these cats become wonderful, loving housecats.

Our rescue is for the forgotten cats. In my home, they are known as the Shrinking Violets, and I have fought for their right to be loved, receive care, and the respect they deserve. Please join me with your support.
