UPDATE: Tex has had his core vaccines and is getting neutered on 1/14.

Meet Tex: A confident and loving boy searching for his forever home!

We found Tex abandoned on the side of the highway, but that has not dimmed his sweet and friendly personality. This handsome German Shepherd/Akita mix is confident, playful, and ready to bring joy to a loving family.

He weighs about 60 pounds and has been treated for worms, ticks, skin mites, and fleas. Tex is healthy and eager to start his next chapter. He was taking care of an 8-month-old hound mix he was found with and has been friendly with everyone he has met, including letting our neighbors kids pet and love on him without hesitation.

We are fostering Tex temporarily, but with two dogs and two cats already, we cannot keep him long-term. Our hope is to find this wonderful boy the forever home he deserves!

We are located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and we are happy to coordinate with adopters in nearby areas.
