My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lizzie is a loveable and loyal family dog we rescued 7 years ago. She is 8-9 years of age, sweet temperament, looking for a new family to love her as we have. Due to a recent selling of my home of 22 years and moving, we are looking for an individual, couple or family to adopt our sweet dog. She has been a sole dog so she is going to have to be in a home that she is the one and only. Lizzie does fine on leashed walks with other dogs. May get excitable when she meets a new dog, but once walking and getting to know the other dog, she will be fine. She can get excitable when meeting new people in a home environment, but settles done soon after. With treats and someone that is good with training and commends, she is very smart and responsive. If adopting to a family with kids, she would do best with older kids (we adopted her when my kids were 13 and 15, would fine with kids as young as 10 but would not recommend a family that has very young kids that are babies or toddlers).
