My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Freddy, the charismatic orange tabby with a zest for life and an abundance of love to share! Freddy's tale is one of courage and incredible change. Once a charming street cat, Freddy was known for shadowing his human friends on their daily strolls and making friends with every feline in the neighborhood. But one brave day, he chose to leave his outdoor adventures behind, stepping into the warmth of his foster home, and he hasn't looked back since.

Freddy has transformed into a cuddle monster who relishes in chin scratches, luxurious naps on soft blankets, and kneading with joy. He's quite the conversationalist, always eager to chat and soak up all the attention he can get. His transition from street to sweet has proven that he's not only adaptable but also loving and content in his new life. Freddy even gets along famously with dogs, proving his friendly nature extends across species!

At around 1 to 1.5 years old, Freddy is neutered, vaccinated, and completely litter-box trained. He's currently nursing a minor muscle pull which the vets assure will heal with plenty of rest. His limp is just a temporary hiccup on his journey to becoming your perfect pet.

Freddy is in search of a forever home where patience and understanding are paramount. He's shown that with a little love, he can thrive beyond expectations. His heart is vast, and he's prepared to pour it all into the family that chooses him.

Could Freddy be the hero your home needs? If you're ready for a loyal, loving, and spirited companion, reach out to us today! Let’s give Freddy the forever love he deserves.

Freddy would do well in a home with older children, other cats and dogs. He is fostered in Menlo Park. Fill out our Adoption Questionnaire to arrange an in person visit or visit over zoom.

Additional adoption info

While we do offer a FaceTime or in home visit, it is not about checking on your housekeeping. The purpose of the home visit is to check for safety hazards so that we can counsel new adopters how to make a safer environment for their new family member.
