My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dylan is a 6.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a big personality, a big heart, and an even bigger frame! This social butterfly loves making friends with everyone he meets—humans, dogs, and even kids! His zest for life shines through in everything he does, whether he`s chasing after a ball during a spirited game of fetch or enthusiastically greeting new faces.

Dylan is a great self-entertainer and knows how to keep himself occupied, but his over-exuberant energy occasionally needs a little redirection. Luckily, he’s a quick learner and always eager to please. Though he’s carrying a bit of extra weight right now, Dylan is ready and excited to begin his weight-loss journey with a loving family who will support his active and healthy lifestyle. We love him at his chonkiest, and we`re sure you`ll love him even more as he slims down a bit!

If you’re looking for a cheerful, outgoing, and playful companion, Dylan is ready to bring endless joy and laughter to your home. Come meet him today!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
