My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet **Pete the Pup**, your new best buddy-*and* the most adorable little rascal around! 😎🐶 With his boundless energy, big heart, and loads of charm, Pete is ready to bring all the joy and fun you can handle into your home! 🎉

Pete is friendly, smart, and full of personality-just like the iconic dog from *The Little Rascals*! 💕 Whether he's playing fetch, running after a ball, or just snuggling up for some cozy time, Pete's always up for a good time! 🏃‍♂️🎾

Like the lovable dog in the movie, Pete has a knack for making everyone smile! 😊 He's super quick to learn new tricks and loves showing off how clever he is! 🧠✨ He's a curious pup who loves adventures, but also knows how to relax and enjoy some chill time with his favorite humans. 🛋️🌟

This little guy is looking for a forever family who will appreciate his playful nature and smarts. He's ready to be the *Spanky* to your Alfalfa, the *Butch* to your Petey, and, of course, your ultimate sidekick through all of life's little escapades! 🎬🐕

If you're ready for a mischievous, fun-loving pup to brighten up your days and steal your heart, Pete the Pup is *the one*! Come meet him today-he can't wait to make you smile, just like the rascals do! 😍❤️

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
