At about 10 weeks old and 13 pounds, this sweet pup is bursting with personality and ready to find her forever home. Ella is a playful, happy girl who loves to romp around the yard, chase anything that moves, and play with her favorite toys that she tosses around with glee! After a good play session, though, she’s more than happy to settle in for a lazy day, nestled in a blanket or curled up at your feet. If you let her, she’ll flash those irresistible puppy eyes to convince you she deserves a spot right next to you on the couch. This little one is smart and already learning the ropes. She’s housetrained in her foster home and paws at the door when she needs to go out, and she’s getting the hang of “sit” about half the time. Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

Following verification and approval of your adoption application, we will arrange a professional transport of our new family member to your area. Our adoption donations are listed on each dog's profile. Professional transportation for your new family member is $150 or less depending on delivery location. We require a signed contract, verification of home address and vet reference.

Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter in the Virginia area. Therefore it is not possible to meet our rescues in person prior to their adoption. Our dogs are brought up to their new families each week! The professional transport service is certified through the USDA. Our rescue dogs can be returned to us if things don't work out. We want each adoption to be for a forever home, so we try very hard to make sure it's the right match! Video conference meetings available and encouraged.
