My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Grazie, a spirited little lady with a heart full of love and resilience! Grazie came to us under heartbreaking circumstances after her owner suddenly passed away. At about 7 years old, this sweet girl has faced a big, traumatic change, leaving her a little shaken and unsure. But beneath her sadness lies a playful, spunky pug who’s just waiting to shine again in a home where she can feel safe, loved, and cherished.

Grazie has an incredibly affectionate nature. Once she gets to know you, she’s quick to become your little shadow, following you from room to room and snuggling close whenever she gets the chance. She loves people of all ages and does great with children, making her a perfect companion for a family or someone who enjoys having a loyal sidekick by their side.

This sweet girl gets along with other dogs, though she seems to prefer the company of smaller, mellow pups over bigger, boisterous ones. She enjoys the gentle companionship of her dog friends but truly lights up when she’s playing with her stuffed animals. Watching Grazie drag her favorite toy around or gleefully give it a good chew is a daily dose of joy. After her playtime adventures, she’s all about settling in for a cozy nap—preferably curled up next to her favorite person in bed.

Grazie has been through so much, but her spirit is intact, and she’s ready to start her next chapter with a family who will give her the time and love she needs to heal. She may take a little time to fully decompress, but we know with patience and kindness, she’ll blossom into the vibrant, happy dog she’s meant to be.

If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s as sweet as she is spunky, Grazie might just be the perfect match. She’s ready to leave her tough days behind and find her forever home—could that be with you? Please inquire today!

More about this rescue

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
