Meet the Pet
This helps Murci's Mission with pet care costs.
Vanilla Bean is a quiet, agreeable and adorable mixed breed dog weighing in at roughly 40lbs with an estimated birthdate of 05/16/2023. She came to Murci's Mission from our partners at SCRAPS after being rescued from a hoarding situation.
Vanilla arrived very fearful and needed a lot of time to just settle in with her newborn baby Marshmallow, but now that she's sure she's safe, she's letting her guard down and learning how to have a good time. While she will likely always be a touch on the shy side, she's having a heck of a good time with other dogs, and she's cat and kid friendly. She is also crate trained, leash trained, and making outstanding progress on house training, now having very few toilet accidents.
Vanilla Bean's ideal family could be an active and adventurous one, or one who likes to take it easy, and she would thrive with either as long as they hold her accountable to continue to make social progress and learn more skills.
Vanilla is scheduled for spay on 01/21/2024 and she can go home any time after that date. She comes spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. Her adoption fee is $200 and includes her leash, collar, ID tag, food sample, and medical records. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.
